Dr. Stewart Helton, DMD

Professional Statement

Dr. Helton is a general dentist who enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Helton became interested in dentistry while attending Brookwood High School. He takes time to get to know every patient and strives to make every patient’s experience a great one. Dr. Helton is from Grayson, GA, and a graduate of Brookwood High School. Dr. Helton competed in track and field, cross country, and wrestling while at Brookwood. Dr. Helton continued to compete in track and field and cross country while at Columbus State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He competed at the NCAA National Championship twice and was a two-time All-American. While attending Columbus State, Dr. Helton was a member of the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He was also President of the University’s American Medical Student Association. Following Columbus State, Dr. Helton attended the Medical College of Georgia, completing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Helton has completed advanced training in implant dentistry as well as oral surgery. He is the former President of Wilmer Eames Dental study club that is composed of top Atlanta Metro Area dentists. Dr. Helton is the former President of the Kiwanis Club of Loganville. He enjoys being active in the community and volunteering locally. Dr. Helton regularly volunteers at FISH MD in Monroe to help residents with their dental needs. In his free time, Dr. Helton and his wife enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, skiing, and walking their Goldendoodle bear.
