2Dr. Zena Sadik-Yosif bought the practice I went to . I came in for my 6-month cleaning, they checked all my gums and at the end told me I really needed to do a deep cleaning based on my gums and the X-rays. I questioned the need for this & felt my teeth were healthy, I brush and floss daily, and have no cavities. They then told me after the deep clean, I had to come in every 3 months for maintenance visits. I told them I didn’t think I wanted the deep clean option and then Dr. Sadik-Yosif got very stern with me. She said I could question it, go for a second opinion, whatever I liked but that she felt I shouldn’t come back to her practice in the future. She told me she wasn’t going to allow me to treat her practice like a car wash. I complained that I was on a schedule with work, so she agreed to doing my cleaning while I was there. When she was done and leaving, she told the Hygienist that there was no reason to schedule the next 6-month cleaning for me. I\'m still shocked and confused.
