By far the best dentist I have ever had. I have known Dr. Ortengren for more than 30 years and wouldn\'t go anywhere else. He has a quiet laid back style and very comforting demeanor. His professionalism as well as his staff\'s is unparalleled. The fact that he has had the same staff working for him for many years is a testament to his dedication to his practice and patients. I trust him to give me the best advice and care.

I have waited and waited to put together this note of appreciation because I have been having trouble coming up with the words that will accurately convey how much you and your whole staff have changed my life literally. When I was a young boy I had many many cavities. I was conditioned at a young age to equate the dentist and the visits of any kind that go along with it to pain. By 18 years old I had stopped going to the dentist all together. Over the past 20 years as I neglected routine cleanings and the minor decay my mouth had reached a state where I was miserable. Every tooth had an issue of some kind, everything from a several teeth broken below the gumline to so many cavities I would be embarassed to say. Not to mention worrying if I would embarass my children out in public because of my smile. Back a year ago it finally came to the point where one side of my face would swell and the eye on that side would swell shut with it. I could no longer avoid the dentist. I had given up on my teeth. My best hope was to have them all removed and replaced with dentures. Over the past year I tried several dentist who were unable to complete work on my mouth because of my absolute terror of the dentist. That's when you stepped into the picture. Over three visits to your office you and your staff have absolutely literally changed my life. You don,'t realize how sick you can be along with the difficulty to eat when the mouth slowly deteriorates over years of neglect. Let alone the social paranoia and anxiety that comes with the loss of your smile and restless nights wondering when you will lose all of your teeth. Every one of you is amazing. Every step of the way I was comforted. I had encounters with your whole staff and everybody was wonderful. After two surgeries and a teeth cleaning I can say that I literally am looking forward to coming back and getting my teeth cleaned. I didn't experience a bit of pain along the way. Thank you for giving me a big part of my life back.

They did not tell me they don\'t take dental insurance even though I gave them my insurance information before making appointment. They let me go thru the whole process, appt, x-rays, consult with doctor, before telling me they don\'t take insurance but expect patient to pay entire amount up front and get reimbursed by their own insurance, even trying to charge me for unneeded services, which they said they\'d refund two weeks after surgery. Prices are higher than negotiated/allowed amount.

I recently saw Dr. Timmerman for two root canal procedures. He was caring and sensitive to my needs and often made sure I was comfortable. He explained the process step by step and was awesome at making sure the procedure was pain free. He was extremely professional and his service was outstanding. I definitely recommend him!
