Terrible dentist. After going to him for 20 years WITH six month checkups; I began having problems with my teeth. After going to another dentist, I found out that he never addressed DECAY issues which led to an implant and new fillings (decay underneath. My two adult children have also found new dentists. One had EIGHT cavities and bad bonding job - the other had TWO cavities and needed invisible braces to fix his teeth that were starting to overlap. (He had braces as a child)..

The doctor is excellent. Beware of the billing clerk. Is clueless and will try too overcharge you, even though in my case they where suppose to....
It's really ashame. My wife and I have been going to this dentist for years and he has always done pretty good work. I thought it was good enough that I brought my mother to him for new dentures. After my mom received her dentures the dentist said to stop back if she needed adjustments. I even said to him should I call and he said no. I brought my mom back twice and he did adjustments without problem. I guess it was about the third that I was treated like a child. When we initially walked in and gave my mom's name I rec'd a hostile greeting by recep. She was very upset because my mom did not have an appointment. She found it necessary to tell me at least FOUR times this was not acceptable. The office manager needed to tell me THREE times and the dentist himself even came out to tell me and inform me that because of us he was now behind in his schedule. I am a college grad and RN and I only need to be told ONCE! My wife has also been treated rudely in the past. Remember you pay them!!!.
Very happy with services i had done here about a month ago. I will take my entire family to see Dr. Rickards. The office staff was very helpful and kind. -Deb.
