5Absolute nightmare! I called this office to find out if they were in-network with my plan. The receptionist assured me that they would call my insurance and verify benefits before my husband came in for his appointment. She also said if they run into any issue when calling my insurance she would give me a call. So, two months after my husbands appointment I am shocked to be receiving a \"forwarded balance\" of $232 which I am finding out is actually going to be $333 when the claim reprocesses and denies completely because the provider is not in-network with my plan. When I spoke to Susan the office manager about this situation she was quick to blame me for the misunderstanding. She claims it is 100% the patients responsibility to verify with their insurance whether they are in-network or not. Which is true, but when your office assured me that my benefits would be verified before my husbands appointment and you failed to do so that makes your staff untrustworthy. From a patients point of view your business techniques are poor and the inefficient conduct of your office shows you are not out for the best interest of your customers. A stand up office or even a productive office that wants their customers to return would make their experience seamless. This office is trapping patients that are trusting by not verifying with insurance companies and just billing. They even created a treatment plan for fillings based on what they said my insurance would cover. Yet my insurance has record that they never called them. These people are scam artists that are only looking to profit off people in Arrowhead. Save your time and go else where.
