I cannot be more pleased with the treatment I have experienced through Dr. Mike Laska’s Dental practice. I recently moved to the area and was not a patient of his. I had an old root canal (done elsewhere, years ago) fail and called Dr. Laska’s office upon the recommendation of someone. They got me in that day as I was in excruciating pain. I was seen by his associate and she was very compassionate and efficient in addressing the core of the problem and educating me on my options, to deal with this very complicated tooth/root situation. She prescribed pain medication which she even altered the next day as my pain was still rather intense. She gave me her home phone number to call her if over the weekend my pain did not abate. I felt much supported. I ended up deciding to have a very expensive dental implant and new crown work done. I decided to see an outstanding periodontist, Dr. Eslami, whom they referred me to. Long story short, he successfully did a very complicated dental implant. After the appropriate healing time, he gave me the go ahead to get the crown work done, and I chose to have Dr. Laska do this work. This was a front tooth crown and it normally requires a few appointments to complete the work. Well, this turned out to be a challenging match. Dr. Laska went out of his way to achieve the most aesthetically pleasing crown for my smile. He worked very closely with his lab to get the color right. He met me at the lab on his day off. Actually, on several occasions Dr. Laska and his assistant came in on their time off to accommodate my schedule. (Oh, and by the way, the temporary tooth that he created to be in my mouth during this whole process was actually a great match, which was really nice since I had it for a while.) For the crown, Dr. Laska did not want to just “settle” for a tolerable color match. He aimed for perfection. He encouraged me to take an active part in this process, and wanted me to be completely satisfied and confident in my new smile. I have to say, I am very pleased with the crown work and really like the final look. This took many more appointments to accomplish but I am so happy that Dr. Laska took the extra effort to get it right, and this was done with no extra charge. While dealing with the loss of a front tooth is a very big and expensive ordeal, I am very thankful that I happened upon Dr. Laska from the onset. I believe I was kept well informed and educated about my options throughout the whole process. Once I decided on the implant route, I feel I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Ahmed Eslami for the surgery and implant as he is an outstanding and very caring periodontist and implant surgeon. The final crown work that Dr. Mike Laska did to give me a beautiful well-matched front tooth for a confident smile was fantastic; I could not be more pleased with the outcome. .
