This review is for Lakewood Modern Dentistry and their business practices. There for a new patient visit, I was set up for a hard sell on unnecessary services. Despite years of twice a year dentist visits and cleanings, I was sized up for a nearly $1000 "deep cleaning" with the follow on requirement to return every 4 months. Instead of the hygienist taking down gum readings, the office manager did and conducted a computer driven hard sell after the dentist's doom and gloom prognosis. As I expressed concern over the unexpected charges and sudden poor condition of my teeth/gums, he searched for other ways to pad their profit. The added insult was a supposed need for an "antibacterial" rinse during my cleaning to ensure no risk of infection. In 30 years, with water as the rinsing medium, I have never gotten an infection of the mouth... Apparently, we now live in a more germ infested world where I cant even trust my dentist to be clean for a cleaning. Read reviews elsewhere...not good.
Dr Butler is highly professional and he takes the time to listen and answer my questions. I've been going to his practice for over 3 years and he is my favorite dentist in the Denver metro area..
Dr. Benjamin Butler attempted to extract my husbands tooth for 2 hours and ended up breaking the tooth leaving the nerve exposed! He then refered him to a oral surgeon to clean up his mess! That wasnt the worste part when we called to talk to him all he could say is that it was my husbands fault and he signed a waiver. I guess that excuses his inability to take responsibility for his bad judgement. My husband should have had a root canal, not an extration! The tooth wasnt decayed, the root was!.
The staff is always amazing very nice and precessional. But I do want to give a shout out to Gabriela for doing such an amazing job. She made me feel very comfortable and she took her time to explain a lot of new information and was very caring. Thank you..
Friendly staff and my hygienist had a delicate touch with my cleaning.
Everyone was professional, courteous and knowledgeable..
