Olinger Thomas J DDS Office

Grateful for Dr. Olinger's office! Many thanks to this dentist and his lovely staff! I went in after having a terrible experience at Dream Smile in Pacific Beach and was so relieved to be greeted & treated very warmly at Dr. Olinger's office. They took me in as a same day appointment because my permanent crown had fallen off (the PB dentist's work...). Good staff! The receptionist was welcoming and I spent no time waiting in their clean/nice lobby. Rachel, the dental assistant/hygienist, was very sweet and made me feel calm and relaxed (key for people like me who are on edge at the dentist!) Fast and painless! The Dr. was in immediately and was very gentle with me. He studied my crown to see if it was going to work or if I needed a new one. Dr. Olinger decided it was a suitable crown and did not just have me buy a new one so that he could make a buck. (Big points for HONESTY and ETHICS). After taking the time to adjust it and fit it correctly into my mouth, he re-cemented it into a much more comfortable position. I had forgotten it was there by the time I got home. Rachel cleaned me up gently and quickly. Great communication! Not only did they do all the right things, but they talked me through it all. I want to be informed on exactly what is happening with my body and they explained everything politely, clearly, and directly. Easy to find and good parking too!
