After moving to California, I went to several dentists but I never felt comfortable. I’m sure you’re thinking no one ever feels comfortable at the dentist. Well, that’s where you’re wrong… Once I found Dr. Szotko, my outlook on going to the dentist changed. Dr. Szotko is a great dentist and an even greater person. He truly cares about his patients and is very trustworthy; he never tries to push expensive procedures, but instead takes the time to explain your situation and provide you with all the treatment options available. He lets you make the final decision and supports that decision. He is also very gentle. I have always despised getting shots, but when Dr. Szotko had to numb me to place a filling; I didn’t even feel the needle. I thought I was just lucky that one time, but I have had shots since then and I didn’t feel those either. His staff is also amazing. I have had issues with my gums for years, the pockets which are suppose to be 3mm or less have been 4mm or more on the majority of my teeth. This issue, if left untreated can lead to periodontal disease. My previous dentists’ recommended “deep root cleanings”, which are really painful and expensive. The hygienist at Dr. Szotko’s office recommended that I purchase a Waterpik. The Waterpik cost $45 and after using it for 6 months, my gums have already improved. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Szotko for the last 2 years and are pleased with every facet of his practice. I highly recommend him for any of your dental needs!!!
