Michael Douglas Lopez, DDM

Don't even need one star but Dr Lopez had been doing a root canal on my wife for 7 months!! Her temporary cap had got infected where he had it pushed up into the gum to far & it caused swelling & a lot of pain. I took her back & he said to floss it & did so himself & sent her out in more pain than what she was in before she came. His nurse assistant said would you like me to get something to numb her? He says no.On the way home she was in tears. But we did what he said to do. The pain became unbearable for her so we took her to the ER & they immediately said it was infected because the cap was pushed way to far up in the gum. He said for her to find a new dentist. She was prescribed Antibitotics for the infection, pain medicine,& Ib Profren for the pain & swelling. This was all in the same day. Him being a "Dentist" he should have clearly seen it was infected & extremely swollen. Instead of prescribing her Antibiotics or Ib Profren at least he does nothing but hits around & digs around on the extremely painful tooth says he did a "good" job on the tooth. "Just to brag on himself some" & says it looked fine. & sends her back out in worse pain then before. He may be ok to go to for a cleaning but anything else "especially a root canal" I'd suggest anyone else..
