Dr Carpenter and his staff are the BEST! Before I decided to go to him I went to Star Smiles and had 2 fillings. One of which they irritated so bad it abscessed. I decided not to go back to them because they made me feel so nervous during the whole procedure and now I needed a root canal. My co worker suggested Dr Carpenter. So I made an appointment and was seen quickly. His receptionist Lori was very helpful and kind. Once I was in the back, his hygienist and intern hygienist were so sweet and made me feel super comfortable. Listening to the hygienist talk to the intern so nicely made me feel at ease. Once the Dr came in he was so nice and sweet and just made me feel like he really cared. They talked me through the whole procedure and gave me breaks throughout (I am 23 weeks pregnant) to get up and stretch. He is very gentle while in your mouth and this was the only time I have ever felt comfortable at the dentist. I will only be going back to him. Before I left Dr Carpenter told me to give him a call anytime if I have any issues with the root canal. Later that night I received a call from him checking on me and making sure I was feeling okay.
