When a professional requires the parent to wait in the waiting room while they see the child, you gotta ask yourself why. One time. Nope. Thanks for traumatizing my child. Never again. And I've learned since that NO PROVIDER who is confident in their abilities would RESTRICT a parent from accompanying their child for treatment.
