Lovett Dental - Katy

DO NOT GO HERE! My 13 year old daughter had an appointment today to have 2 teeth extracted today and was going to be fully sedated. I went in 2 days prior to go over pre-op instructions and to make sure they got their money. Paid in full for the procedure. I felt uneasy about the place right away but with our insurance it was a huge hassle to even get to this point. We arrived this morning and greeted with a "have a seat." No "good morning" or "hello." I didn't say anything because it wasn't that big of a deal. 15 minutes after our appointment time a tall male nurse came out and asked for my daughter. Additional info: (My daughter has very high anxiety when it comes to dental work. She was already losing it in the car prior to us arriving. I calmed her down by telling her I would be in the room with her until she was asleep and everything was fine) I got up to go back with her and he told me I couldn't. I asked why and he told me that it was a liability because the room was so small. My daughter started to get upset again. He turned around and walked away without saying any more. I then asked the receptionist girl how a mom being present while her minor daughter is being sedated with a male dentist and nurse assistant was less of a liability than a "small room." She rudely commented back saying that is what the dentist wants so........ I told her I wasn't comfortable with any part of what was going on and that I would not be having any work done. She said "ok." No apology or anything. I said I needed a refund for the $790 I had paid the few days before. She pulled out a piece of paper and wanted to write all of my credit card info down on it and then told me it would take 3 months to process the refund!!!!! My father came to the appointment with us. At the point in which I was told it would take 90 days for the refund to get processed it started to get heated. I asked to speak to the office manager and this young girl came up and was even more rude than the receptionist. At one point her and my father were calling each other names. She called him a b*tch. Other ugly things were said on both ends but at no point did the office manager that should have had far better customer service/people skills apologize for the inconvenience or hassle. No refund was issued. I am having to dispute the charge with my credit card company which is also a hassle. I made a comment about calling the police and the office manager says "oh good I hope Chris comes." Clearly unhappy patients are such a big thing there that they are on first name basis with the cops. Nancy & Denise (office manager & receptionist) clearly fit in well at this dirty and trashy dental office. Everything happens for a reason and while it was a huge ordeal I knew I should have gone with my gut instinct when I came in the first time and opted to not move forward with everything..

I would like to start by saying I originally went here earlier this year for Invisialign. I had zero pain, zero sensitivity, zero problem with my teeth. The dentist told me I had to have a few fillings done before they can proceed. So I paid for the fillings, and a down payment to the Invisalign. After the first filling, I noticed there was hypersensitivity on my top left molar(14). The original dentist, Dr. Tran, did not probably grind the filling down so the bit would be proper. After doing so the second appointment, it only got worse. She tried replacing the filling with a glass-type filling, saying 99% of the time this fixes the hypersensitivity. A week goes by and now it hurts to even breath through my mouth. On top of this, I cannot chew on my left side. She then says I need a root canal. Imagine going in for Invisalign, to now needing a root canal that cost thousands of dollars. I ask to talk to the hear dentist, Dr. Williams, who decides to try a medical filling. After two failed medical fillings, I am now having a new symptom: Tooth and gum pain. I now have to take a advil and orajel everyday just to sleep. The pain is almost constant. And now my only choice is a root canal I would have never needed if I decided not to go there. They said my tooth a inclusion, that after the filling, may have exacerbated it further to what is it now. Why didn't they see this is plan for it to prevent this problem? I don't know, I am not a doctor, but I rely on doctors to prevent these problems. So now I am having to spend thousands more for a problem that I never would have had. I went to this dentist without any problems or pain, and left with months of constant pain. DO NOT GO HERE. They act like they care, but in the end, they just want to make money. They do not care for the well-being of their clients, and when they are in pain, they look for temporary cures, hoping the client will just disappear..

Castle dental at Fry and I10 nearby Target, No good. Messed up all my teeth. There was a dental assistant who told me she is from Mexico and she was a doctor there, spoke so pleasantly but was watching the tv while holding the infrared lights on my tongue instead of tooth. simce I corrected her she start manipulating the dentist to spoil my teeth. i saw her rolling her eyes . The dentist at the time was singing and doing his work on my teeth. I will never suggest anyone to go there. Another dentist office you don't want to trust i Harrison and bethke. These people have no remorse for the wrong doings. He removed my cap unnecessary and filled with some temporary stingy stuff , my mouth was smelling like shit and I was running like headless chicken to take it off and not able to trust any doctors with these kind of expeirence in the past with castle and harrison. So embarassing to even think a dentist will do that. Word of mouth is very powerful. When a client coming to you office ,its a God's gift, he is sending to you for your business and you should appreciate that they are coming to you from all these dentist in the world, so please treat them with dignity. If you don't know to serve , just say so, better than ruining their life. These kind of dentist are shame to the entire dentist network. When you have bad exerience with dentist please say so somewhere so you can help others. Explain what happend. .
