Professional Statement

My name is Shane Smith DDS. I’ve spent the majority of my life in Jonesboro, AR with attending Brookland Schools and obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Arkansas State University. I only left Jonesboro to attend dental school at University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. After receiving my Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2016, I moved back to Jonesboro, AR to start practicing Dentistry. I spent 5 years as an associate dentist providing dental care for several communities in Northeast Arkansas including Jonesboro, Paragould, and Blytheville, AR as well as Kennett, Mo and Memphis, TN. In 2021 after the retirement of John Abernathy DDS, I purchased the equipment and building to start my solo general dentist practice at 2919 Browns Ln, in Jonesboro, AR. Since then, I have cultivated my passion for dentistry with providing high quality dental care and creating meaningful patient relationships.
