At a recent emergency room visit for extreme abdominal pain, Dr. Christensen fixated on my medical cannabis prescription as the only possible explanation. He ignored my repeated explanations of why that couldn\'t be the case (had the pain before the prescription) and what I thought was going on (bloating/trapped gas from excess fiber). He was misleading about the treatment, describing it as pain and nausea medication. The discharge paperwork showed no treatment for pain, only nausea. He came to discharge me & asked how I was feeling. I told him I felt nearly as bad as when I came in, I was still in intense pain & it hurt to breathe or move & I wouldn\'t be able to sleep. He didn\'t care or even acknowledge it. When I kept asking what to do, he gave me a script for the medicine I\'d just said hadn\'t helped, then told me to use OTC painkillers. I told him I had & they didn\'t help. Then he sent me home in exactly the condition I\'d arrived. Felt like he and the ER just wanted my money.
