7Went in for what I thought was a cracked tooth but ended up needing a crown. The first numbing didn’t do well enough so the lady came back and did 3 more shots including where she did the original one. The dentist came and said he was going to put more but I advised him she had already been in and he said well I’m going to do more. So he put a gel on it too. Fast forward to after my visit 8 hours later the numbing finally started wearing off which was very weird. Woke up the next morning and the right side of my tongue was still numb. I went back in 2 weeks later for the rest of my crown and told him this. He said that was not normal. I said I know this. He said they probably got too close to my nerve. If it didn’t go away In 2 more weeks I’d need oral surgery. I got my crown put in with no pain meds. His assistants did it as well not him. It has now been 10 weeks and my tongue is still numb. I will never go back.
