I scheduled an appointment over a week ago to get all four of my wisdom teeth extracted (as the one is infected and is causing pain, and another is pushing into my teeth, and when I visited a dentist who said he could do it, he had to send me to an oral surgeon because they're stuck in my jawbone.). Again, over a week ago, I scheduled this appointment, and over a week ago they told me that they would be calling me with how much my down payment had to be on that day after they figured out how much my insurance would cover. Over a week later, I had to call them because I still hadn't heard anything. Turns out, the receptionist booked me for the appointment, but didn't write any of the other information down for my insurance so I had to give her all of that again. Then she tells me that the day she scheduled me for, that they can't do because it's a Friday, when the receptionist was the one who suggested the Friday. She then transferred me to another lady, and this lady also started telling me they couldn't do it that day without a appointment prior for xrays and such (mind you, the dentist office said they would fax over all the information), and I told her the receptionist told me I didn't have to do that because the dentist office would fax over the information. She then told me that even though I have insurance, I would have to pay a $2000 downpayment on the day of the surgery. Do NOT ever go there. The entire office is a joke and no one seems to know what they're doing. So now I have to keep my teeth, and my pain, for who knows how long.
