I went in for a consultation and left with confidence in what this team can do. Dr. Graf is excellent with the needle and take it from me I am very anxious about dental pain. I had two wisdom teeth extracted and I do not have nearly the pain level I have had with previous extractions. I am super impressed with everyone on his team, they are super friendly, super smart, and active listeners. He makes me proud to be in Ohio. :).
Every procedure he has been rough , I always left there with torn lips!!!.
He told my mother in law that all her teeth needed to be pulled that they were all bad and that she could get dentures ( she has tremors from cerebral palsy ) so we set up the appointment he had her go to the hospital to have them pulled she healed nicely and I made a appointment to have her fitted for dentures during the appointment her told us that he will NOT fit her for dentures and that she will need to go to someone else I think he should of said that up front.
Friendly staff and caring doctor, but be ready to wait an hour or longer with each visit. They always seem to be way behind regardless of time of day..
I had two of my top teeth on the right side removed today. when I went back with a lot of anxiety and as the dentist was giving me shots my eyes were watering from anxiety. This was when I realized the dentist is not all that chatty or comforting with his patients. After the shots he went on to check another patient and came back once I was numb. When he started cracking one of the two teeth and I felt a horrible stabbing pain and it was not the pressure or anxiety. I ask him to stop he did and he said in a very frustrated voice " your going to have to cool it alright!" He gave me some more shots and then tossed his gloves and mask on a table. He went on to do a root canal on another patient. The whole time I layed there thinking should I leave ? even though I couldn't he already cracked a tooth open. So I waited about 20 min and he came back in. I was prepared for him to be angry with me. Whelp, he shocked me. He came back and with a calm voice said that anxiety can cause you to be tense and cause the pain but also it's possible I could be feeling the pain. This time I didn't feel anything until he found an abscess and cleaned it. I felt better knowing that he wasn't angry with me for telling him I was in pain. It only took him a matter of minutes to get the two teeth out and I have to say he did a great job. Him and his staff are very social but they did a great job. I will go back to have my fillings done. Sometimes a friendly/social staff make people feel better about being nervous..
Dr. Barnett is not a good dentist at all. I am a former patient. Every filling he has ever given me has fallen back out. He is very big fingers and stretches your mouth out trying to look in it. He does not act in a professional manner and can be rude at times. It's hard to get an appointment most of the time. The office is outdated and their equipment and technology is way behind most other dentist offices. I have since found a good dentist and can't believe I stayed with this inadequate dentist for as long as I did. Stay away from him if you value your teeth!!!!.
