Sanders Weddell Pediatric Dentistry

My husband and I went to Dr. Leavitt\'s office for a cleaning. It was our first visit so Dr. Leavitt performed the cleaning himself. He and his staff are very nice, but I\'m sad to report that it was very superficial. Nothing was touched below the gum line, so it was basically a polish. I would always be worried about gum disease if we continued to be patients. We really like his office location and friendliness, so it makes us sad to say this. We have found that many dental schools these days are cutting costs by not having periodontists on the staff, so you have to careful nowadays when choosing a dentist.

Dentist recommended work that was not needed. I went to a couple other dentists and they both said the work recommended was not even close to necessary. How about this... stop spending all the money on marketing and focus on quality of care rather than quantity. Drop the corny advertising, focus on solid and ethical work.
