How Patients Feel
NEGATIVEPatient Reviews
1My son is currently seeing Dr. Salmons. The care he has received has been good. However, we have been poorly treated by the staff. We drive about an hour for my son's appointments there and have difficulty scheduling appointments. They are not accommodating for us at all. In fact, the last time I attempted to schedule our appointment at a time that would work for us, the receptionist gave me an attitude and then complained about us to Dr. Salmons. At the following appointment, Dr. Salmons sat me down and stated that I must schedule my appointments during alloted time for Medicaid patients on Wednesday mornings. Then was basically asked to keep any other children at home because of the lack of space in the waiting room! Obviously, the same receptionist complained about that as well...with no due cause. I walked out of there feeling humiliated. I have never been treated with such a lack of respect. Dr. Salmons needs to train this particular receptionist in some customer service skills or find someone else. He also needs to be more accommodating to his patient's schedules. Until that time, I would not recommend his services.
