It is very obvious he is a newer dentist. I would choose one of the more experienced dentists at Park Dental. He comes off as short/rude but that’s just my opinion..
I have been a patient at Park Dental for over 20 years. I have never been treated so awful by a dentist in my life. Furthermore Dr. Walek is someone I have never met. He did not meet me just instructed his assistant that this appointment was over. The last comment the assistant said to me was that they do this because they care. Dr. Walek did not follow up with me as requested. It appeared to me he could not care less. Both Dr. Walek and his assistant are very young and do not have the experience to make rational decisions. I no longer feel comfortable going to the Dentist I have seen for 20 years. In addition, I felt uncomfortable with all the health questions, pushy. I have a right to my health record privacy. Park dental should not take blood pressure reading with a cheap wrist cuff. Park Dental should have a standard clinical calibrated blood pressure cuff and have the patient properly positioned. I am still upset about the way Dr. Walek, Maria Poyerd and Park dental treated me..
As an adult orthodontic patient, I found Dr. Bates and his staff to be very professional, friendly and caring. Dr. Bates answered all questions and explained options. He does superb work--I am 100% satisfied with the outstanding result he delivered. The staff was efficient and respectful of my time--I rarely had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time to get promptly seen and treated. I now have a perfect smile, thanks to Dr. Bates and his fine staff..

We love Park Dental Hugo and Dr. Amy. We've been going here for many years and can't say enough about the warm staff and excellent work we've had done. It's rare when you actually look forward to visiting your dentist :-).
