This is the worst dentist that I have ever had in my whole life. I am no longer going to Hawaii Family Dental Center for assigning me this poor excuse for a dentist. I found out that they knew that he has poor patient side manner but they keep assigning him. I told him that I had problems but he just rushed right through an annual exam like he had a hot date or something. He is outright rude. His patient side manner should be recorded so that dentists know how NOT to behave and treat patients.

This place seems okay at first when you walk in and get everything done but if you want quality go somewhere else. This place left me with a filling that made chewing on one side of my mouth impossible for a whole year. Not only that but to make money they told me getting two of my four wisdom teeth pulled was all that was needed. Now I have two wisdom teeth left and have to go through getting them pulled again. If that's not bad enough while I was numbed up and getting a filling (the one that ruined my mouth) the dentist's assistants were asking each other what the tools they were using do. It's not reassuring hearing "ooo what does this one do?! It looks like a tiny spoon!!" When someone is giving you a filling. Go anywhere else just don't go to this dentist if you care about your teeth.

My 17 year old had 4 wisdom teeth pulled with no complications. She took pain meds once. Minimal swelling. The staff was friendly, efficient and responsive right away when I. needed to get her Dr clearance for school and work. Thank you Oral Sugery Hawaii and especially Dr Kitamura for taking such good care of my baby. You guys rock.
