How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
2At fourteen years old, it is safe to say that I don't like going to the doctor. I never have. With this in mind, it may come as a shock when I say that I actually enjoy going to the dentist. My dad says that when I was young, "I would come out of the dentist smiling." The reason for this is my dentist, Dr.Heinowitz. Dr.Heinowitz has truly made something that might be unpleasant for some children a fun time that I genuinely look forward to. When arriving at the office, you are greeted with a smile, for younger children, a room filled with toys, and for the older children and adults current magazines and newspapers. There is never too long of a wait, and once I get in, I am treated by kind hygienists. They always take good care of me and are genuinely interested in how I am doing and ways to make my mouth healthier. After they perform their tasks, Dr. Heinowitz comes in and also checks the teeth; there is never just one opinion. On the way out, you can grab a prize and they give you a toothbrush and floss, which saves me from having to buy one. One of the best parts about Dr.Heinowitz is how much money he has saved me. While some orthodontists wanted to slap braces on my teeth just to make money, Dr. Heinowitz knew that braces were not the right solution for a mouth like mine. Instead, he used bonding on my teeth, which was the correct way to rectify my issue. This saved me thousands of dollars, and at every appointment they still make sure that there have been no chinks in my bonding. This has saved me the money and teenage humiliation of having braces, while still giving me the cosmetically correct way to go about the issue. Whenever I go to the dentist, everyone is kind, compassionate, and full of humor. It is hard for me to keep my mouth open because I am laughing so hard. I have gone to Dr.Heinowitz since I was born, and fifteen years later, I still look forward to going to the dentist and do not have one cavity. Dr. Heinowitz is an incredible dentist who I plan to go to for the rest of my life.
