Zero stars if I could. Grossly unfair business practice. Refused to clean teeth without X-rays. Prior X-ray was 1 day past 1 year. Said it was against against the law to do a cleaning with out X-ray. Needed to have one every year. No exceptions. Repeated they were just following the law. Which is not true. Seems to be a scam that they schedule the appointment just a day after 1 year. Very unfriendly staff and intimidating manner. Told we should just buy insurance..
If i could give 0 stars i would. We had been seen at Dr. Joseph Robinson for 10-13 years, he was amazing! This practice has gone down hill since his daughter has taken over. She and her staff are extremely unprofessional. When they were going through their renovation their office was closed for months and their voicemail was never updated, so it said they would be open, but they weren't. My 10 yr old son was in pain and no where to go. They said we could go to Dr. Davis in town, but they didn't accept our insurance. We looked for dentists in New Bern, but they weren't accepting new patients. When I let Dr. Robinson know, all the could say was "sorry and maybe paying the difference at Dr. Davis was my only option!" To me, them closing for several months was NOT okay. We ended up finding a new dentist and they are awesome. It's really sad what Lacey has done to her fathers practice. If you want a good quality dentist, go elsewhere..
This is a 5+ star dental practice! As a new customer to the Davis Dental Group I have consistently had outstanding treatment from every member of the team. They are caring and consistently go above and beyond to provide efficient, high quality care. Dr. John’s professional expertise and personable chair-side manner is a blessing that helps alleviate that “dental anxiety”! I had a dental issue that escalated over a weekend and much to my relief Dr. Davis offered an emergency contact number. He immediately returned my call for help, listened to my concerns and prescribed appropriate treatment instructing me to see him on Monday morning – without an appointment! Very impressive care! I highly recommend Dr. John Davis, he will meet your expectations of comfort and excellence in dental care!.
Absolutely love the office and it's employees. Such a team! Make you feel welcomed and taken care of. Even if you are not familiar with all the medical terms they will explain things very well..
Evan, Bailey and Clare love coming to the office. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They have games for us while we are waiting..
Dr. Rankin and his staff deserve 10 stars but it will only let me give 5! Dr. Rankin and his staff are incredible! If you are not getting braces with him, you are at the wrong orthodontist! I've had a wonderful experience here and he does an excellent job! Kassandra Smith.
