Outstanding; excellent. Even has a super considerate staff. I had an MVA 1985 and waited 10 yrs in pain until I found him. He recommended to put MY OWN living 5th rib and some sternum cartilage into my own left mandible, with a titanium plate and four finishing nails. I have no visible scars, and have not had a headache EVER SINCE (for 20 years). Seriously, I don't even have aspirin in the house. It was a six hour surgery out at StonyBrook University Hospital (he also works out of LIJ in Lake Success). I had staples on the left side of my face in front of my left ear, and my jaw was wired shut for 8 weeks, but there was no pain from any of THAT. Truly. This oral surgeon was fabulous. Definitely recommend him for any type of TMJ pain.
