I went to this dentist over 25 years ago with myself and family, needless to say it was a bad referral. I was told both my kids needed braces, not the case, only one needed them and to this day have nice straight teeth. I was told my front teeth were cracking and he ground out the back of my teeth and built up with some type of filling material. Today my front teeth needed the bad work he did replaced, this work never needed to be done, I have had it fixed multiple times and the 2 dentists I have been going to since my visit with Portnoy have told me it was unnecessary work.
