4First, let me preface saying I believe all 3 surgeons are wonderful and was extremely pleased with my surgeon and the procedure that he performed and his approach in explaining things. However, I do totally agree with the other reviewer in regards to the financial aspect. I also was greeted with hello and here is your estimate to pay 'NOW'. We have very good insurance and pay dearly for it. My insurance was covering a good amount and was verified. I had to pay out of pocket a huge amount, then wait for the insurance co. to pay them, & then wait for a refund. Why is that necessary? I could understand paying the copay portion, but not what the insurance co. will pay. When I asked the question about how long I would have to wait for a refund, the response came with an attitude. Some of the staff could use way more training on customer service. After all, we are the customer. Others are really good and very helpful. Again, the doctors are great but staff and finance issues need some help. I am guessing they have been burned before but if the insurance company is verifying coverage, that should not be an issue and no reason to collect my money, then have to reimburse it.
