Capitol Dental Care- Harrisburg

Dr. Sisk and his staff is always advancing the new techniques. It's nice to have someone in the area that is up to date. He is professional, he is excellent at what he does! He tries to give his staff room to grow in their careers by allowing them to problem solve. He is there to do the work and be their resource. I would highly recommend this practice!!!

This dentist is a scum bag plain and simple. My little sister age 9 went to him to get two baby teeth pulled due to her adult teeth coming in and they are coming in not so straight. My mother made her an appointment for 1130 am. First the dentist has his receptionist call and move the appointment to 415, ok not a big deal, during the call however the receptionist talks about this dental protection stuff. Where they put plastic in the grooves of the teeth. My mom at this point is just frustrated because forget her plans for later that day, she agrees to this protection thing. My parent take my little sister to the dentist for what she had wanted, this guys hygienist says about the protection thing and my parents want to do more research on it before they get it for her due to not knowing anything about it. The hygienist gets mad at them, because you know they allotted time for this step. BFD, so this "lady" if thats what you want to call her takes my 9 year old sister back to the room for her teeth to be pulled like they had already planned from the previous appointment. As my mother goes to walk back with her the hygienist tells her "we like to take them back by themselves to get them used to doing it alone", ok strange to me. Then about 5 min later my sister comes out with a message from this person, saying that the dentist won't do it etc. Keep in mind she is 9. Dr. Sherman didn't even come out or his hygienist to talk to my mom. So my mother only getting half of what my sister said she asked the receptionist what is going on, the receptionist calls Shermanator on the phone and he told her to tell my mother and I quote "If she is worried about her teeth coming in crooked go see an orthodontist". Really knowing what the appointment was for originally he had it booked, the reasoning he refused then is because she wouldn't get this special protection stuff on her teeth. He was mad because he maid time for this step which doesn't really take that long I later find out, and that was from the mouth of his receptionist. So what I am getting at is- DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY, he is a crook and a cheat. He wanted to do this unproven unnecessary procedure to get more money from the insurance company. He is a scum bag and a low person. I hope nobody goes to this guy ever again. He is a bully of 9 year old girls. POS
