I had a crown done with Dr koivisto. It turned out very well!!! The entire experience was wonderful. He did a great job making sure I was comfortable with his recommendations and when I was getting the work done he always made sure to explain what he was doing and why. I trust him and highly recommend Dr Koivisto as a dentist..
I wanted to see Dr Shamp for a filling but he is not taking any new patients so I saw Dr Koivisto, he insisted on removing a bridge which did not bother me at all. He ignored my concerns strongly suggesting a deep gum cleaning. He completely missed a shaky crown which I just lost; my chewing power is down to a single tooth on that side. A fix (implants/crowns) costs 5K/tooth! He only works there 2 days a week. He is lacking the skills that a patient should expect from a professional dentist..
