Stay away from this dental office and find a good honest dentist. Be careful with what the Evans Dentals office tells you or even give you a contract; they would rip you off. Pat Caughman, told me that even though my tooth is alright, he would like to change the filling of one of them. The office gave me a contract that my responsibility for the total cost would be $79. And the rest will be paid by my insurance. I agreed and paid my share. later my insurance sent an $80 check to cover the cost; I gave it to them. Caughman billing office sent me a new bill for $88. When I called them, they told me that since the insurance did reduce the price, I am responsible. I told them that they gave me a contract. But the answer was, that it was an estimate. I told them that estimate would be off 5%-10%, not %120. Additionally, since they accepted my insurance and I called and checked prior making the appointment, they should recognize the price set by the coverage. Long story short I am receiving an $88 bill almost every month. But this is a dirty business. They do not deserve this money. And I am going to pay them $1 a month. So Stay away from this dental office and find a good honest dentist.
