3I have never been so disappointed by a medical "professional" in my life. I was simply having my abutments and crowns placed after already having my implants placed by another dentist earlier this year. The procedure should have been very simple and worry free. Dr. Bradley Aker was the dentist assigned to me. He numbed one side of my face and sliced and chopped at the tissue over the implant. After my gums were completely peeled back and bleeding, Dr. Aker began to pry and chisel at my placed implant. His hand was completely wrapped around my face and intruding in my personal space. Meanwhile, other staff in the office were working with other patients were talking back and forth crudely about certain patients. The patient monitors, containing the entire schedule for the day and confidential information of all patients was completely visible to me from the operating chair. After Dr. Aker destroyed my gum tissue, he simply concluded that the doctor who placed the implant, who has been placing implants for over 15 years, was incompetent and placed the implants incorrectly and that he, Bradley Aker, would not place the abutment and crown after all. His reasoning was obtained by looking at the x-ray, something that, if correct, should have been arrived at before numbing my mouth with multiple shots and butchering my gum tissue. With my tissue butchered and my mouth numb, he walked off and gave me no referral or direction to other dentists who might be able to complete the procedure. I left the dental office completely violated and disgusted, with blood dripping from my mouth. Thankfully, an excellent dentist, who takes personal ownership in doing the very best by his patients (Dr. Jay Joseph in Joplin, MO) took me in immediately and completed the procedure in 10 minutes. Every other medical professional that examined my mouth that day had the same reaction, " That doctor [Bradley Aker] butchered your mouth and has obviously not placed very many crowns at all." Susan at the front desk was helpful and cordial. The other office staff were unfriendly, uneducated and unable to communicate accurate procedural information. I would NEVER EVER recommend this dental office.

3For the past eight years my family, (husband, son, daughter) and I have received excellent dental care from Dr. Moss and his staff. His dental hygienists Nancy is thorough, gentle and kind. From the moment you enter his office until the time you leave you are treated as a member of the family. Dr. Moss is gentle, kind, and trustworthy. He also cares about his patients and is the absolute best dentist in this area. We all four highly recommend him without hesitation.
