East Hills Dentistry is a great place to get dental care but after about 2 years I figured this dental office would be more accomodating to patients with time constraints. I never found a more busy dental office like this one you will be hard pressed to get any kind of appointment from either dentist in this office. I asked countless times specifically for evening appointments and I have instances where I have 3 cavities and I was given a morning appointments practically 7 weeks away which I think is awful dental care. I just wish this dental office didn't list a question on their from that asks new patients, "what types of appointments do you prefer morning or evening appointments?" maybe they should delete that question off their forms if they refuse to work with the patient's schedule. I seek immediate dental care to repair for 3 cavities and I felt like I was being treated as an afterthought. Dr. Ptak is a good dentist but I am definitely not a fan of the 2 female secretaries especially one named Tameka who keeps arguing with me that if the dentist didn't deem my dental work that high a priority she would specified to them that I needed to be seen sooner by her. What irritated me even further is the joke of a "cancellation list" that I never even probably got put on. That dreaded cancellation list you never get called back for an earlier appointment, never! As a patient I say if you like being treated to very far away, very late inconvenient appointments to be squeezed in, please come to this office if you want to get get tightly booked and not be able to ask all the questions you want after your appointment from Dr. Ptak be prepared to wait another 7 weeks to even ask her a single question. I wasn't even allowed to ask a question after having dental work done and Tameka decided to play hardball gatekeeper yet again and tell me she is in with another patient. I always left disappointed by this office because the drawback by this office is not getting early enough appointements to be seen by Dr. Ptak to get dental care that everyone says is amazing in this office. The dentist gets 4 stars but the front office workers the gatekeepers of this office get zero negative stars for their horrible farce of scheduling style & their aggravating rude behavior to boot. I figured as females they would be a bit more understanding but I didn't appreciate their dismissive tone with me even though I have always been polite to them. I am sure my review will get trampled on because every other 5 fake star review given to this dental practice has been inflated to look like they care about your dental care or they will call me the patient a liar. I just need to explain that this dental office make you wait forever scheduling wise to get your teeth treated & repair immediately, the dentists are always booked. Thankfully I have moved on to a different dental practice where they treat me with care & patience and they make room in their schedule to accommodate my schedule & not the dentist's schedule to repair my cavities immediately. Please be aware the dentists are good at their job, BUT the front office not the friendliest & accommodating bunch. .
Great dentist office. Dr. Nicole Ptak is great, calming & soothing dentist. 5 stars for her BUT it is impossible to get an appointment to reapir small dental issues quickly in this office from this staff. The front office staff gets a deserving 1 star because I didn't appreciate being thrown 3 months out for dental work I wanted to get handle immediately. The front office ladies work extra hard to block you and give you odd houred times and dates & make you wait until several months down the road to be even seen by Dr. Ptak. Don't even bother being put on a cancellation list you never get called back. I understand Dr. Ptak is super busy but if I had a dental emergency God only knows how much harder the ladies up at the front desk would work to give you a farther appointment that you walk around with a messed up dental work for several months..
The doctors here are Amazing! I had acute pain from a new cavity and my tooth was super sensitive to hot and cold for 2 weeks. After visiting Dr. Huang-Parise once, she fixed the cavity ( mind you, the cavity was tiny and in a awkward position in one of my front teeth) and my pain and sensitivity was 95% gone instantly! She was also very gentle and reassuring! I have a fear for dentists:) especially when they are holding drills. She made me felt comfortable and at ease the whole time I was receiving treatments. Thumbs up for my experience!.
