Dr Hendrix recently starting practicing in New Albany, Indiana. I had a wisdom tooth extracted in her office. I was pleasantly surprised to get through the extraction with no pain. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting her for your dental needs..
The 2 dentists and hygienists that we have seen since Dr. Kloboves left the practice have been great! The office staff, not so much. After 10 years at Landmark Family Dental, I have decided to find another dental office due to the office staff..
My whole family has recently been seen at this office, and it was a very positive experience. Every person we came in contact with was very professional and courteous. Will definitely be returning for continued care. My daughter is especially difficult to provide care to because of multiple disabilities and they were so patient and kind. She completed her X-rays, exam, and cleaning and walked out with a huge smile on her face. Just can not thank them enough..
Had an awesome experience here! My teeth have taken a total transformation in just one visit! Friendly staff and very professional. Made a typically painful experience a pleasant one!!!.
I lost a cap and went here because of the reviews...Boy was I wrong. The office staff was professional, maybe too much so. The Dr was pleasant until you disagreed with her. I had x-rays taken and was told what I needed done. I guess it was my error because I must have misunderstood my treatment plan. I received "laughing gas" because I was really scared of dentists, I kept telling them that it wasn't working and they assured me it was. (it wasn't, I have since gone to another dentist and his worked" another time I was given "sedation" using pills, they said it would take an hour or so to work. I said it wasn't working they kept on working...It did finally work 3 hours later while I was being driven home. They capped over the tooth and I told them several times that it still hurt. The next day I received my x-rays in the mail and was basically told that I wasn't welcome there any more. I did go to a different dentist with complaints about that tooth and was told it was abscessed. I had a root canal done and (excuse the description) there was a lot of pus. The tooth had to be capped again, which my insurance will not pay for since it was just done. I know a lot of people have had good experiences there but mine, not so much !!! I would not suggest Dr. Hendrix to anyone. She is terribly RUDE and very pushy to get dental work done. I went to schedule a cleaning and they said my insurance would only cover a certain amount of work and insisted I get my wisdom teeth removed and my cavities filled first and get my cleaning the following year. (More money for them.) I called my insurance and was told I was covered for a cleaning at any time regardless of dental work. While getting my impacted wisdom tooth removed she literally yelled at me for moving too much, she did not even pause to ask if I was okay, only to yell at me to stop moving and be still. I was then foolish enough to take my six year old son back for some surface fillings they insisted needed done. They took him back without asking if I wanted to accompany him. I heard him crying down the hallway and insisted I go see him. When I entered the room, Dr. Hendrix was yelling at him to be still and stop acting that way. In no way did she try to console him or calm him down. Afterwards, I talked to several friends and unfortunately they also had negative experiences of being overcharged and treated poorly from Gentle Dentist. Please beware and go at your own risk!!! I assure you that there are other dentists who will accept your dental insurance if that is the only reason you are going back to that awful place. I would not suggest Dr. Hendrix to anyone.
