Dr. Spencer is a wonderful dentist. He knows dentistry and keeps current on the latest techniques. His staph is equally qualified. I like how he treats his staff with respect and takes the time to keep them current on dentistry..
I had my first appointment there today. There were no patients in the waiting room when I got there and none when I left. They have no hygienist and I didn't even see a dental tech. The dentist didn't introduce himself and he did everything. I've never had a dentist attempt to clean my teeth. I say attempt because he was horrible at it. This was the first time I left a dentist office and my teeth didn't feel super clean. Will never go back..
I enjoyed my time with Dr. Harboway he is very no nonsense about dentistry and wants everything to be perfect for YOU! He told be the truth and I appreciate that very very much in this day and age..
This is "fast food" dental care at its finest. Most of the work is done by the technicians and it seems the focus is more on running patients through than on quality. I had a root canal and a crown put on - the crown still doesn't fit right after two additional visits and the copy estimate they gave was substantially lower than the actual amount ($150 more than states). They also didn't send a bill until 6 mths later, which brings their billing practices into question. I would not recommend this business to my friends.
I came to this office in hopes of a great dentist, instead I was treated rudely, I had x rays with me that the dentist told me they were worthless, he was rude, and very unproffesional. He got mad becasue I asked how much xrays were, as a client that is my right!!! The only one who was nice was the dentists assistant. This dentist had no respect or professionalism. I would think twice before going to this place!.
My experience may be different from others and it shouldn't be used to turn anyone away from this dentist. This dentist was nice during my consultation. He urged me to setup a follow up appointment within a week after consultation which would have been great and easy to do if he himself were going to pay my fees and hire a sitter for my children. I was unable to come back until a few months later when funds were available and my children would be cared for while I'm at his office getting treated. His energy was great as he chatted with patients across the hall and chuckled with them. This made my nerves calm a bit, that is until he came in to start on me. His persona was different, he spoke to me in a cold, firm and rude tone. He made sure to let me know through his body language and attitude that he had a problem with me not coming back when he felt I should've. He says I see you finally made it back, in a sarcastic tone and then wanted to know why now. So I'm thinking he'd understand my situation. I tell him that I'm a stay at home mom of 5 kids under age 8 and that my husband works away from home 5 days a week and longer depending on the weather. Day care is expensive and I will never hand my kids over to a stranger. He then did everything but understand and have compassion. He instead told me in little words that my decision to not come right back in was my fault that my situation had gotten a little worse. His attitude remained cold throughout my surgery. My body temperature was elevated and I became nauseated because I wanted to get up and leave but I stayed because I didn't know when I'd be able to be seen again. After I finished he said we were done and his assistant would take care of me and schedule my next appointment. Rude! I cried to my husband and he was like any husband "upset". He wanted me to go to a different dentist but I decided to try this guy one more time thinking hey maybe he had a bad day. I was wrong because he behaved the same way during the second set of fillings. Everyone's experience will be different. I've learned to trust my intuition. I could never recommend Weymouth to anyone but I wouldn't turn you away from him because he may treat you better. His staff is great..
