Dr. Poovey and his hygienist Karen diagnosed a "cracked" tooth (although he couldn't show it to me on the x-ray but was only visible by them). He recommended a crown immediately. I told him I was going to think about it. 6 months later it was "too late" and needed it extracted and an implant put in. After 2 botched appointments to discuss a treatment plan, I got a 2nd opinion and the other dentist was bewildered why I was told I had a cracked tooth. Four years later and I still have my tooth.
