I was a patient with Dr Anderson since they first started in Cattaraugus almost 30 years ago. When they started they were great, but as time went on and they got busier, things started slipping. When I told Dr Anderson several years ago I was getting perimenopause symptoms, he told me I was too young. I insisted. He finally got mad and said we'd do a hormone test to check. Next visit he told me my hormone levels were consistent with menopause. No kidding. I was sick with gall bladder disease for a few YEARS. One of the first tests he did was an ultrasound for gallstones. Then that was it as far as gallbladder tests. I had bloodtests x-rays and a colonoscopy, everyone treating me like a hypochondriac. Finally they had an intern in (Thank God!!!) and he had a nuclear dye test done on my gallbladder. The surgeon said he had never seen a gallbladder as inflamed and ugly as mine. A few years ago I began getting all kinds of strange symptoms. Headaches bad back bad knee severe fatigue etc. I had all sorts of tests done and everything came back normal. Again I was treated like a hypochondriac. At my last physical there I asked Dr Anderson if it was possible that I had lupus. He rolled his eyes at me and said "Noooooo Michelle you dont have lupus!" Well guess what. I changed doctors and I do, in fact have lupus. NOT hypochondria. Thank you so much Dr Anderson for an early diagnosis (sarcasm). Maybe you should retire before you kill someone.
