Best Dentist In City - Dr. Kalpana Kaveti, DMD

Raymond J Nicol, DDS

Offices of: Raymond J. Nichol Erick Chamblee Scott D. Lawrence Customer service is atrocious and incompetency abounds from the standpoint of SERVICE, someone taking care of insurance claims and following through with returning messages and getting information to me, the customer. (Call them chances are good you’ll at least get a recorded message) Their billing department doesn't contact you concerning an alleged outstanding balance for 24 months and then waits to inform you until your family shows up for an appointment. Then threatens them with sending that alleged balance to collections unless they are paid on the spot. I've just about had to beg them to get correct information on billing and procedures. Since I’ve tried to genuinely express my dissatisfaction after years of this type of treatment and lack of service they have chosen to hang up when I call and tell me that they won’t put up with being “hassled” about the issues and my overall dissatisfaction with how their business is operated without consideration to the customer outside of the medical aspects of the operation. This goes for all of the dentists and staff working between their Gnadenhutten and the Newcomerstown offices. My entire family have been patients at this location for over 20 years and about 10 years ago the "business" started changing hands after the original dentist/owner retired and has gone downhill ever since. You never know what dentist you'll see and apparently they don't think that you should see that same dentist at each visit. At some point the "business" expanded to include the Newcomerstown location and they try to keep both locations going on what seems to be a part-time schedule and that's what you get part-time dental services and what they like to call customer service. After securing the services of another dentist and as of early March they’ve chosen to contract with a collection agency to try to get money from me that they unwillingly refuse to bill me for to show that I actually owe them anything. This after having yet to contact me as promised to discuss any billing and issues. I told the collection agency that someone (dentists or agency) would need to show proof of debit and they refused. I have since had my attorney contact them (dentist and agency) and have heard NO reply. Use their “services” at your own risk, just don’t expect to be treated like it’s their livelihood..
