My extremely scared partner came in to have two wisdom teeth pulled, we had previously discussed a plan about how to mitigate his anxiety, taking breaks, and so on. Well he stuck to none of that, was extremely rough with him. Wouldn’t let me come back when he was having a panic attack causing him to actually hyperventilate into passing out, which he was annoyed by saying “you’re an adult and you’re numb, tough it out” broke one tooth trying to pull it which cut his mouth. Didn’t call in the promised pain meds after. It was terrible. I like Afdent but I recommend never EVER letting dr Skirvin near anyone you love.

Went there for three ish years, got three cavities filled without anesthetic because they thought they weren't as deep as they turned out to be during the procedure. They failed to tell me the cavities were rotting beneath the filings for the next two years. I went in with an ache in a new tooth, was told it was nothing and sent home. I got fed up and went to a new dentist. They proceeded to tell me that yes it was a cavity that needed to be filled and also, my old cavities needed to be taken out and refilled because they weren't cleaned properly and were decaying under the filing and I might need a root canal because it was so close to the root at that point. Never go to Dr. Dawson!!!! Just trying to get money by waiting for you to need root canals!!!!

Fantastic doctor and staff! Very caring...sad to see someone \"thinks he is a better dentist that he is.\" Honestly, the most humble dentist I have ever met. Thanks doc for taking great care of me!
