How Patients Feel
FAIRPatient Reviews
1I felt he was very rushed in my consult for routine wisdom teeth removal. I was very anxious, was given Valium for the procedure day. On the procedure day, I was taken back, asked to sign more paperwork (while not being able to focus to read what I was signing, and not being able to think clearly enough to ask my husband to read what I was signing), and asked to sit in the procedure room. Dr. Maroda did not bother to speak to me prior to the procedure, and while I was very upset (as the Valium proved to make me light-headed, but not relaxed), the assistant, or whoever she was since she didn't introduce herself, stuck the needle in my arm, and was put under Twilight. Twilight is a good option, but you can still follow simple instructions. After the procedure, I was put in the car before being allowed to come out of the Twilight. In my case, I was one of about 50% of people who develop terrible tremors/shaking following anesthesia. It was very frightening, and frightened my husband as well. This could have been dealt with quickly if I'd been allowed to sit 5 more minutes in the office. Also, no one from the office called to check on me. Regardless, I'm very unhappy with my experience and do NOT recommend this office.
