I do not recommend this dentist. I used Dr. Barbat for several years and over that time I was told I needed several crowns, root canals etc. I always have taken good care of my teeth but I believed her when she said I needed these procedures. Her office is nice and the people are friendly, trustworthy. During my last visit, I was told I needed a root canal and scheduled it. At that appointment they prepared to do a root canal on the opposite side of my mouth than they originally stated. When questioned, she told me nevermind, you don\'t need one, and abruptly left the room. I requested my records, which they gave me a hard time about and went to another dentist. There was nothing in Dr. Barbat\'s record indicating the need for a root canal on either side of my mouth, nor was anything found during my new exam. My teeth were fine. This was years ago but it still bothers me and I\'m convinced this doctor performs expensive, unnecessary dental treatments.
