This is the first time I have ever wrote a review anything, but I feel it's very needed this time. First and foremost, I writing here mostly to worn all the non-insured people. They are going to try to sell you on a $290 package. Please don't make the mistake I made and get it. So here's what happened to me. I felt a cavity coming on so I called them up specifically to get the cavity looked at and possibly filled in. I take good care of my teeth so it would of been my first cavity. I called and they immediately tried selling me on the $290 package. I told them about my cavity and said that I am due for a teeth cleaning. That's all I wanted. I told them I would decide on the package when I come in. The teeth cleaning was good and the dental hygienist was great. She said that I probably had one small cavity. Then I saw Dr Gilligan. He was nice, but again he was trying to sell the $290 package. I bought it b/c Dr Gilligan said that I would need all the X-rays and scans for the cavity. However, I came in the next time and I probably didn't need all those scans. He showed me my scans and was like "everything looks great." I didn't care what a 3d scan of my head looks like, and he sure wasn't checking for cavities. Duh, everything looks great. I'm a healthy 23 year old who doesn't smoke, doesn't chew tobacco, and takes care of her teeth. I could of told you that I probably don't have mouth cancer. Also, I think I would know if something was bothering my jaw and if I had something going wrong with my gums. Finally Dr Gilligan checked my cavities and said that I had 9 of them, and that it is going to be $2500 to fill them! It threw me off b/c the dental hygienist said that I might have one small one. Also, I have never had a cavity before and to have 9 all of a sudden sounds off. I'm sorry, but I won't be getting them filled by Summit Smile Center. The main thing was that all I wanted was a teeth cleaning and my cavity filled. I truly felt taken advantage of. I didn't need that $290 package with all those scans. Again, if someone happens to read this, please don't let them talk you into getting it.
