We went through one really horrible dental experience after another with our 4 year old. I mean... horrible on an epic level... ending with hyperventilation and vomiting. We never even got a chance to do x-rays, because she was never able to calm down long enough. After requesting recommendations for a dentist very good with timid kids, I had over 9 suggestions all referring us to Doctor Van Tassel. I made an appointment and we were seen the same day. Immediately inside the door, the receptionist engaged our daughter in friendly conversation, which my 4-year-old happily returned. Then the assistants and other employees focused solely on her the whole time, making her very comfortable and happy. We got x-rays with literally no issues. She had her teeth cleaned while she giggled, and she even hugged the dentist when he came in to see her! I'm just blown away by the difference in how my daughter did at this place, as opposed to our previous experience! I can't thank Doctor Van Tassel and his excellent staff enough!!!
