I have just returned from Doctor Reid's office, and I can't say enough good things about the treatment I have received. I have, let's say, "issues" with sitting in a dentist chair that's related to my PTSD, and we'll leave it at that. They have been so good to me, especially this last visit were I got my first filling ever after decades of never having a cavity. Never needed a filling before, so I don't know what that's like, then, add my "issue," talk about layering on the difficulty! The person who really helped me through this was his assistant, a former Naval corpsman, she understood my situation entirely, what a blessing! Revision 8-17-17 At first I had given this office a five star rating, but I have had to lower it since. My filling required additional work to correct what is called the "bite." A bite correction is sometimes needed, and in my case it was causing me quite a bit of jaw and tooth pain, so the adjustment was very necessary. Getting a follow up appointment was a nightmare, I could not seem to get the person I was dealing with to understand I needed a correction now, not later. I did finally get an appointment, but not before having to press the person I was dealing with. I did get the bite adjusted, which stopped most of the pain. The problem is, I still need more adjustment done, which means I'm back to playing appointment games with the scheduling lady, who never calls back in a timely manner, who always makes excuses for why things are the way they are.... Not really thrilled at this point.
