I had a tooth extracted yesterday. First one. I'd always been very proud of my strong ? though not straight ? teeth. But a year or so ago I lost a filling and the surrounding tooth gradually broke away. Then this last week-end ? it would be a long one! - I had the worst toothache I've ever had. I called the Everson Dental Clinic first thing Tuesday morning and despite being short-staffed and fully booked, they made a place for me. The receptionist said the only thing they were going to do was make me comfortable; I'd have to make a regular appointment and come back for any procedures. Fine with me. I saw Dr. Ross and his delightful assistant (don't know her name). Let's take it out now, says, Dr. Ross. After all, you're here! So, out it came. It took longer (and was far more painful) getting the anesthesia to take hold than it did to extract the tooth! Saved me the time and cost of another office visit and the mental anguish anticipation brings. High fives all around! Thanks, Dr. Ross and Dr. Ross' lovely assistant..
