Do NOT go here. They told me I had a cavity that would cost $1000 to fill. I went to my hometown dentist for a second opinion, and they said my teeth looked perfect - no cavities, no issues. Lakeside tried to scam me out of $1000, and had I paid them for it, would have destroyed healthy teeth by doing a procedure I didn't need. Dr. K was great, but since she left the whole place has turned into a scam. I'll be reporting them to my insurance company. ---- The below review was written in 2015 ---- In my experience, the poor reviews are undeserved. I have been to see Dr. Kochikaran 3 times since 2013 - two cleanings, one filling. Dr. K is great. Most recently, I was overdue for a cleaning, and when there were no appointments open in the next two months (before I was due to leave for the entire summer), the staff put me on a waiting list and were able to fit me in within two weeks of my original call. Everyone was very friendly and I was in and out of the office quickly. It's also very conveniently located for NU (grad) students, and is in the network for our optional dental insurance plan. It would nice if they were able to schedule regular cleanings more than 3 months in advance, though.
