I highly recommend going somewhere else ANYWHERE else. This woman is rude, unhygienic, and unprofessional. I would only recommend her to an enemy. A tooth she performed a filling on became infected and needed to be extracted. buyer beware .
Dr K...this is the only way I'm able to reach you...I have left multiple messages at your office w/ no response...honestly, I am not sure you even got them. I was at the N. Brunswick office on 4/2 for my quarterly cleaning. My husband and I have been pt's of your Edison practice for a few yrs. My last 2 cleanings have been at the N. Brunswick office as it was closer to my work. I know I will run out of room before I can convey my concerns...if you care to know, feel free to contact me back.
Always ask for a pre-treatment out-of-pocket estimate if anything else is suggested by Dr. Khanna. Me and my wife went for cleaning as it was already december and wanted to get it done. Even though they said they are almost booked as it was end of the year, but got the appointment within a week from the date I called which was great. After getting the cleaning done for both, Dr. Khanna and staff suggested my wife to get some cavities fixed and why not get it done in the next couple of days as she could use up insurance for the current year, and surprisingly got the appointment in the next 2 days. I specifically asked what would be out of pocket and was told that apart from the deductible each of us paid, it wouldn't cost us anything. So we decided to get it done, at this time they don't trust you and your insurance, they made me pay $1300+ from the credit card first and said we will reimburse later once the insurance settles. With others usually I have seen that I get billed and asked to pay after the insurance settles claims. The insurance took a couple of months to settle all claims while I waited for my credit card charges to be returned but was eventually told that I still owed them $162. The fees charged for services were way over what my insurance pays for a similar service. We just went for cleaning with an estimate of $100 per person deductible but ended up paying $1300 from out of pocket and our insurance payed them $1500+ , Please always get it in writing what your out of pocket expenses would be before stepping into their office. Do not just get what they suggest you get done. Dr. Khanna and their staff wants to milk your insurance dry and make you pay for the expenses you have not planned for. With a simple google search with name I later found out that 2 out of 3 reviews post about suggesting services when not needed and overcharging for services..
You get what you pay for but there are some things money can't buy. The gentleness, professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff here is awesome! This is the only dentist office I enjoy going to. What's the point of getting your smile worked on, if you not gonna smile?.
