Hershey & Heymann Orthodontics (HHO) is literally a life saver! After spending three years in braces back home in Chicago, it was time I found a better orthodontics facility in Durham. I came to Durham last year as a freshman at Duke in desperate need of continuing my braces treatment. The entire year as a freshman, I hadn't been back to any facility for a check-up- not even back home. After giving the idea of terminating my treatment back in Chicago serious thought, I began orthodontics hunting in Durham. With Google by my side, I began to search "orthodontics Durham NC" and HHO was one of the immediate results. As my hunt for a new orthodontics home continued, I found myself comparing the top results. By the time I came across HHO's website, I was convinced I had found my new home. Every review I read was full of positive words and 5 stars! I instantly contacted their Durham location to set up a consultation, and boy did they greet my family and I with open arms and smiles. Following my consultation, I was advised to get my braces taken off, get my teeth cleaned, and then begin my ortho treatment with HHO. I can honestly say every step of the way was a breeze with their total dedication and genuine concern regarding my oral health. Today, I had my first appointment to get my braces on. All of the workers, receptionist, and especially Doctor Hershey created a welcoming environment for me and ALL of their patients. The entire process I was continuously asked "How are you doing?" "Everything okay?, which reassured me that I was in good hands. After all of the brackets were placed on my teeth, I was issued a "goodie bag." A goodie bag of orthodontic cleaning tools of course!! :) The bag consisted of my Smile Rewards card, floss, ortho wax, Advil, toothbrush, Orabase, floss threaders, several bags of rubber bands (light), inter dental toothbrushes, and much more! I was extremely pleased to leave an orthodontics appointment with everything I could possibly need to ensure a successful treatment this time around. I am so thankful for Hershey and Heymann Orthodontics and I look forward to seeing my results!! Thank you!
