How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
3I wouldn't recommend her to anyone who doesn't want to feel pain or be treated with respect as a patient. I went to her a month ago because I was feeling horrible pain and I knew I had to get the tooth taken out. After the visit and confirming that an extraction was needed, she refused to make an appointment until I had talked to my doctor about allergies. Being a Kaiser Permanente patient, my allergy information is on the website, and it said I had none. So I told her and she said it wasn't good enough, that she would need it in writing from the Doctor! Meanwhile, I am in excruciating pain. 2 weeks after the initial appt she gives me a form to give to the Doctor(I have no idea why it wasn't given to me on the initial visit). Still trying to be hopeful that she was just being thorough and not blatantly distrusting me, I sent my Dr. the form and he faxed it to her and I still got no word from her. Meanwhile, I am waking up at 2 AM every morning with blinding pain and missing work because of the pain, and still she will not even set a date for the extraction. She ignored my saying how much pain I was in and even told me with antibiotics that I shouldn't be in as much pain as I am in. I am in the pain! This is literally torture for me! How could a dentist rely more on her conjecture that a patient shouldn't be in pain than a patient literally crying to her in pain? Severe lack of empathy and total disrespect of patients she is supposed to be (legally) caring for. I'm just glad she let her true side show before I was on her operating table!
