Run! Don’t walk AWAY from this dentist. Made to feel like an interruption to the staff & Dr. Johnson at S. Mountain dental. They obviously just wanted to get my appointment over with. The so-called hygienist skimmed over my teeth, with no attention to detail, maybe 10 minutes, then Dr. Johnson came in, looked at my X-rays, said everything looks fine, didn't even exam my teeth or check for cavities, or gum problems, NOTHING! No exam took place, it was a superficial glance at best. I wound up having an AAE Specialist Endodontist D.D.S.,MS perform a root canal on a broken tooth in May, an ADA dentist for the crown. Both said the large molar was in obvious need of repair in April, was overlooked, both said it had a huge cavity. Dr. Johnson’s oversight cost $900.00, would take NO ownership for his error, no apology. Hope this review will spare another patient from the same outcome. I confronted Dr. Johnson via phone, very unprofessional, treated me very badly trying to deflect blame!.
They are dishonest at best. They add additional procedures and make it sound as if it's part of your checkup and cleaning, then upcharge you after you've received the procedure. Stay away from this conman and his equally complicit staff..
Dr. Johnnson is the most professional and personal Dentist i know. He treats you with respect and and like royalty. I have been Dr. Johnson's patient for many years. Not only is he VERY knowledgeable in his profession, but he also makes an effort to accomodate each and every patient as if they were family. He has always made sure that I understood what his process and procedures are with respect to root canals, crowns and other dental matters. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Johnson!.
