I am very happy with Dr. Geren and the staff and facilities at Mt. Vernon Dentistry. Dr. Geren is an excellent listener; is patient with questions and happy to make sure you understand your options completely. State-of-the art “Nomad” x-ray technology has such low radiation that the technician does not even leave the room, which also makes it quicker. It was so helpful to be able to see photos of my teeth on the screen as we discussed what was going on. Dr. Geren is interested in addressing your needs and does not push extra procedures. Twice, I have been in with tooth pain that was cured with minimal treatment and very low costs. There is no nickel and dime-ing for x-rays or photos, etc. No pushing of “standard” treatments such as gum cleanings or whole mouth x-rays. When I noticed my old veneers were cracked and worn, we discussed several options and I opted to have them replaced with the less expensive composite veneers. His staff worked with me on generous payment options. During the procedure, Dr. Geren and his hygienist worked well together as a team. His gentle manner, patience and skill made this very long procedure less stressful. And my new teeth are beautiful! Art and skill!

She would charge me 200-500 every visit!!! I would leave with pain I never had prior. I was told I had 3 cavities. When I went for a filling I asked for the biggest to be filled first. Upon checking out the receptionist told me she didn’t fill the biggest. Told me I needed a tooth extraction and I was never told that by the dentist. I asked for my X-rays and they refused to send all of them. I went to another dentist and I had no cavities or need extraction needed. a liar. Butcher. Thief.
